Last Friday, 23rd March, all of Year 6 were really excited to visit the WMM to find out more about WW2. After separating into groups, we were all allocated different activities. Our favourite part of the day was when we got to listen to a war veteran and he told us about his experiences during this time of conflict. We had the opportunity to try on different military uniforms which were very heavy! We also had the chance to see lots of artefacts from this time in history; for example we were very impressed with the medals and found the ration books interesting. It was a fun way to learn all about our history topic.
