Earlier today, Year 6 had the pleasure of a visit from the Community First Responders to learn important life-saving skills. During their workshops, the children explored how to give emergency care after calling 999. They were taught vital steps in keeping a casualty safe until an ambulance arrived, which included practising CPR on ‘Resusci Annie’. We certainly learned a lot and now have a better understanding of what to do if an emergency ever arises!
