This week, all three of our Year 6 classes thoroughly enjoyed their local walks linked to their geography work. During their local adventure they explored maps and satellites to get an understanding of the facilities in Yateley. They created their own map symbols and a key, Whilst on their local area walk, the children carefully observed the shapes, sizes and location of physical and human features and used this to create their own maps from their field observations.
