Year 4 celebrated their Greek Creative Day following its adjournment last week! With another opportunity to wear their fabulous costumes, the children learned about the importance of plays and entertainment in Ancient Greek times. We looked at the story, ‘The Midas Touch’ then rehearsed and performed our own version of the story of King Midas (we certainly have some excellent actors and actresses in Year 4!) Other activities included making pitta bread and wreath making, and we ended the day with a staff performance of ‘Theseus and the Minotaur’!
Great fun (and historical learning!) was had by all!
