As part of our geography work comparing Yateley with Japan, the children took part in a local area walk to explore the key features of our town. Throughout the walk, we stopped at a number of points to observe and discuss both human features, such as shops, roads and buildings and physical features. The children used their observational skills brilliantly, thinking carefully about how these features help shape Yateley and how they might differ from those found in Japan. Their behaviour was excellent from start to finish and they made the most of the lovely weather as they represented our school with pride.
