What a Wednesday! On Wednesday afternoon this week our fabulous School Councillors (across the federation!) took on the prestigious role of official judges for this year’s greatly anticipated WHT Showcase! I may well be biased but I think this was the best yet! Our incredibly
talented 53 finalists (including one staff member—you will be able to guess which one!) from across all of our year groups performed their varied talents (including a few never seen before!) to a spellbound whole school audience! As in recent years, acts once again varied greatly from our favourites of musicians and singers, to dancers and joke-tellers as well as some new additions of aerial sling and balloon
modelling. Back by popular demand, a signed song was another highlight and singing with cups in unison dazzled us all.

It was such a pleasure to see the awe of the audience who dutifully clapped, cheered and gasped in all the right places. Best of all it was a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to celebrate and share their talents with such enthusiasm and confidence.

Although I believe I may have been asked approximately 100 times, when the winners will be announced (and I have shared this during the showcase and again via School Council) the winner(s) will be announced when we are back after half term. It is imperative that full verification of the final scores is completed! Who will be crowned the WHT Champion 2026?
In the meantime (as suspense builds…) I have to say that I could not be more proud of every participant; they are all superstars!
Go Westfields!
