As well as the children’s Remembrance activities in school this week, last Sunday afternoon, I had the privilege of accompanying pupils and
staff at the Yateley Remembrance Service and Parade. A smaller group of children attended the church service with Miss Marcham and Mr Chaplin and a total of 17 pupils acted as ambassadors for our school alongside other local schools and community groups. Once again, this memorable occasion gave our children the opportunity to join with other members of our community to show appreciation and respect for our brave armed forces in a poignant service, parade and laying of wreaths. It was lovely to see children from across our schools
and I wanted to thank everyone who joined us to make this so special.
