The children have all thoroughly enjoyed making use of the newly redeveloped area on the back playground. Following various fundraising projects over the last year (and a little bit!), we were delighted to have the area completed by Sovereign Playgrounds in time for all of the children to enjoy before the end of the academic year. In addition to being a lovely space for play and performance on the stage, classes will utilise this space for their learning too! We are so lucky in these financially challenging times that we have such a dedicated PAWS Team who fundraise for these ‘sparkling extras’ that the school budget would never stretch to afford! As such, I would like to say an enormous thank you to the PAWS Team (particularly the Committee!) who have worked tirelessly to support an array of events as well as all of you who have supported our ventures from pop-up shops and fireworks to discos, film nights and quizzes! If you would like to take a closer look, next Friday from 3.00pm we will open the back playground for parents to see for themselves what all of their support has funded.
