Girls Football Match Report WJS V Dogmersfield

On Tuesday a mixed Year 5 and 6 Girls Football Team played a friendly match at home against Dogmersfield. Westfields started the match strong and kept the opposition at bay for most of the first half with some excellent defending. Our team efforts paid off with Abigail scoring in the first half which took us into the break in the lead. The second half started with lots of our possession, however Dogmersfield created a couple of good chances, narrowly missing scoring with both efforts. The final whistle came with the score unchanged and Westfields winning 1-0. Well done to the whole team for a fantastic effort and great sporting behaviour – you are a credit to our school.
