As promised, on Monday, we began our Friendship Week by celebrating Odd Socks Day. Once again the children all looked brilliant in their jazzy socks of all colours and patterns to showcase their individuality and our inclusive culture at Westfields. This year’s theme was to ‘Make a Noise’; the children have spent time this week exploring what this means to them and how their voices can play a role in challenging bullying/unkind behaviour. In addition to this, the children have engaged in various activities and have had some insightful conversations about steps they can take and people they can talk to if they have any worries. It has been lovely to hear about all the valuable discussions that have been taking place around the school about this important topic.
