House Teams at Westfields
A sense of belonging is central to realising our vision for the school. It unites all members of the school community and fosters an ethos of shared responsibility and success.
Children at Westfields are split into four different teams represented by colours and named after the patron saints of the United Kingdom; red for St George, yellow for St David, green for St Patrick and blue for St Andrew. These are integral to the school, being used to reward good behaviour and learning.

Potted Sports Event
We all enjoyed a sunny afternoon of physical activity on Tuesday this week (5th April 2022). Another event that we were excited to see the return of was our Potted Sports! Dressed in their team t-shirts, every pupil in the school completed 12 activity stations which varied from hurdles and hockey dribble, to baton relay and the climbing wall, to earn team points. Our fantastic team captains kept spirits high and I would like to thank Miss Barrand and Mr Frame who organised the event. Fun was had by all and the results were shared in our Gold Book Assembly this morning:
1st – St Andrew (944 points)
2nd – St David (898 points)
3rd – St Patrick (888 points)
4th – St George (865 points)
Well done to one and all for a fantastic team effort!
