On the last day of the half term, our Year 6 football team played a league match against Newlands Primary School.
After a difficult first half, where we didn’t play our best, we had a team talk with Mr Chaplin and discussed new tactics to break our opposition down and we succeeded! We came back with determination in the second half which resulted in a 3-2 win! There were some impressive goals scored by Cameron Hickey, who scored 2 and Shaun Dargahi, scored the third.
Well done to the whole team for a great game.
We are all looking forward to playing our last league match, which we will play against Charles Kingsley. Harry Smith
