As briefly shared last week, after school on Thursday, Year 5 held their annual Fiver Challenge Business Fair. As a real life experience, each team was given a £5 budget to make a profit by creating games, products or experiences in order to raise money towards their residential trip next year. Products included stress balls, keyrings, bookmarks and bead bracelets, which were sold in the hall whilst outside on the playground there were games and experiences including archery challenges, nail bar, hook a duck, sponge the teacher, basketball and penalty shoot-out! We were delighted to welcome so many parents, family members and pupils and our entrepreneurial Year 5s were kept busy with some even selling out of items! Rather impressively, a year group profit of £803.22 was raised.

Congratulations Year 5, what a super learning experience to develop your understanding of co-operation, marketing and financial matters!
