On Wednesday Year 5 had their first Fantastic Finish Learning Exhibition, all about the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings. Parents came to view the learning the children had undertaken last term, with books, jewellery and work on display to show our wonderful work. There were also plenty of learning experiences to be shared including: rune letter writing, an archaeological dig to find artefacts and ordering a historical timeline. In addition to all this, there was a photo booth to dress up like a Viking to create a souvenir of the afternoon! Children and family members thoroughly enjoyed sharing so many fascinating aspects of Viking society that they did not know before!
