On Tuesday 27th January, we were so pleased to host our annual Compute With Me Workshop where record numbers of parents had the opportunity to come and explore our Computing Curriculum with their children. This year, we had a focus of external outputs and delved into
using Crumble Boards and MicroBit Boards! Despite a range of confidence levels at the beginning, by the end of the session
everyone was able to successfully write algorithms to make light sticks shine, spell out their names in Morse Code using flashing lights and even make a Taylor Swift dance to ‘Shake It Off’ spinning on a motor. It was a huge success and well done to everyone who attended for their perseverance and amazing final outcomes! Thank you to everyone who joined us and particular thanks to our fabulous Digital Leaders who skilfully acted as experts!
