On Wednesday we had the opportunity to visit the Winchester Science Centre! When we walked into the Centre, everyone thought it was amazing, not least because it was massive and we couldn’t wait to start going around. People thought it was interactive and inspiring, especially for children who want to be a scientist. As soon as the lights turned off in the planetarium, everyone let out an amazed gasp. We all thought it was brilliant and felt as if we were floating!

We then did an experiment with fake snow, kitchen towel and cotton wool, to find out which material was the most absorbent. The results were that fake snow was the most absorbent, it held 128 drops of water and we could have carried on dropping water into it!

We had a fantastic day and learnt a lot! Thank you to our teachers for taking us on such a great trip!
