This week, as part of our extended curriculum, we have been focusing on well-being and the importance of kindness through our annual Well-Being Week. Each day, our children have taken part in daily acts of kindness, from giving compliments to inviting someone new to join in games and activities at playtime. The children also had the opportunity to take part in a range of staff led lunchtime activities to support
their well-being, these included creative mindfulness activities, games and a nature walk; all of which provided a chance for children to relax, connect with friends and try something different. As part of our commitment to spreading kindness beyond our school, we also created thank you cards for local organisations, including community groups and the emergency services to show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication. The children took great care in writing thoughtful messages and designing their cards, hoping to bring a smile to those who do so much for others. It has been a wonderful week, reinforcing the importance of kindness and looking after our well-being. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make it such a success!
