We shared in so much family fun to celebrate this year’s World Earth Day! Children, staff, parents and family members all had a fabulous time working together to complete our secret World Earth Day Challenge of creating items designed to be sold by IKEA from recycled materials. It was so fantastic to see families working together and the creations that were proudly displayed were absolutely brilliant! Further to this challenge, classes spent the rest of the day completing other themed activities including creating planet poems, designing gardens to encourage nature and even designing WED board games to promote eco-ways! I must say a huge thank you to Miss Hastings and Mrs Wilson who arranged this memorable event and helped remind us all of the importance of taking care of our planet; after all it really is the only one we have!
