Monday 22nd May, Year 3 had an amazing day stepping back in time to the Ancient Egyptians. Their costumes were fabulous and everyone fully immersed  themselves into our creative learning to develop their understanding of achievements of Ancient Egyptians. During this special event, the children participated in a variety of Ancient Egyptian-themed activities including:
 Learning how the Ancient Egyptians used hieroglyphics to communicate and design their own cartouche.
 Creating papyrus paper and drawing a picture of their favourite Egyptian God.
 Designing a headdress for a pharaoh to signify wealth.
 Investigating the importance of the River Nile for survival and transport in Egypt.

A fantastic day full of new creative learning! Well done Year 3!
