On Wednesday (Odinsdaeg), Year 5 had a fantastic Creative Day based on their current history topic of Anglo-Saxons and Vikings. All of the children (and staff!) came dressed in a range of amazing costumes.  The day was action packed with pagan or Christian themed jewellery making, creating a replica of the Sutton Hoo helmet and a treasure hunt to decode runes. To complete our creative medley, the day finished with the traditional storytelling of a number of Norse Myths.

Everyone had great fun with different peers and staff members to learn lots of fascinating facts about life in the early part of the first millennium AD – it was a memorable day for us all!
