After school on Thursday, Westfields Junior School hosted a league football match against Potley Hill Primary School. We started the game strong with Sam controlling the midfield before Jamie scored our opener with his right foot. After a couple of minutes, Preston scored our second. Next, a flashy dribble from Sam resulted in a clear-cut chance that he finished sublimely to make it 3-0.
Aiden then scored with his left foot soon after being subbed on. The whistle blew for half time.

The game certainly did not slow down in the second half as soon as this commenced, the game became frantic with a pair of well-timed headers from Jamie completing his hat-trick making the score 6-0. Then Potley Hill began their comeback with two goals in quick succession.  Fortunately, we kept focused and Aiden was there to score another two well executed goals to get his hat-trick and the final result of 8-2. Being great sportsmen, we cheered for Potley and thanked them for visiting our school.

Well done WJS, we are all looking forward to our next fixture!
