Our Year 6 pupils travelled back in time on Monday as they enjoyed their WWII Creative Day. Not only did the children look wonderful in their wartime outfits , they had a fantastic time learning wartime dancing (including swing and lindy hop routines), following rationed recipes, researched the military war effort, made model Spitfires and to top it all they attended their very own tea dance! Not only did the children extend their historical knowledge and understanding, they had fabulous fun too!
