5DC dazzled the school today with their vibrant assembly all about Mexico. Starting with a family excitedly preparing for their tropical holiday, the children whisked us through Mexico’s landscapes, ancient
civilisations, delicious food and colourful festivals. Pupils confidently shared facts about Mexico and introduced the audience to mouth-watering tacos, quesadillas, guacamole and more! Two lively original songs: We All Want To Visit Mexico and Going Loco Down in Mexico, filled the hall with tuneful notes of energy and enthusiasm. The performance ended with the holiday‑ready family reflecting on everything they had learned, echoing the pride and excitement of the whole class. A huge well done to 5DC for a joyful, confident and colourful celebration of learning, you did yourselves proud!
