Today, 4LB held a court hearing to decide whether the Romans should rule Westfields Junior School! Taking their extensive knowledge from our history lessons this term, the children laid out a detailed proposal on why the school would be better if run by the Romans – it was very convincing although Miss Redman did not agree! We heard evidence from Roman Gods and Goddesses, the Roman army as well as the Roman slaves who built the roads. The whole class have truly enjoyed the topic of the Romans, and I have loved seeing their excitement and engagement on the run up to our assembly. Every child worked incredibly hard to learn their lines, as well as use expression and a dash of humour in their performance! Well done 4LB, I hope you are as proud of yourselves as I am!
