In 3CC’s Class Assembly this morning, the children brought our history curriculum to life! First, acting as Archaeology students, they guided the whole school and family members through the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages, uncovering all sorts of fascinating information as they tried to piece together the prehistoric jigsaw puzzle! They then transported the audience back in time to meet the mammoth hunters, recite poetry about making a sword, witness the fantastic discovery of Skara Brae and understand why Hill Forts were built in the Iron Age. The children also performed a selection of fun songs about making fire, mammoth hunting and building a Hill Fort. We hope everyone enjoyed the assembly as much as 3CC enjoyed performing it!
