This week, in our ongoing efforts to make our curriculum as engaging as possible, we held VR workshops for Year 3 and Year 6. Within Year 3, the children travelled back in history to explore Ancient Egypt as part of their Creative Day activities Beginning by exploring the outside of pyramids, they then delved into rooms and tombs inside. Year 6 ventured all around the world to fly over different types of volcanoes to launch our new topic of Deadly Disasters. They looked straight down into the crater of a volcano and flew in a helicopter across a stream of
lava! It was an immersive experience that I am sure the children will not forget.
