This week, all of our children celebrated Friendship Week with lots of creativity and kindness! They began by embracing difference and
diversity with Odd Socks Day and it was great to see lots of bright, colourful and wonderfully mismatched socks worn by both staff and children. It was also fantastic to see everyone embracing their individuality and celebrating what makes each of us unique. This year’s theme, ‘Power for Good’ reminded us that everyone has the ability to make a positive difference through their words, actions and
influence. Throughout the week, the children explored how even the smallest acts of kindness can have a big impact. For part of our
celebrations, we once again partnered with Westfields Infant School and together, created some ‘Power for Good’ postcards designed to spread joy and positivity to others in our school community. It was wonderful to see the care and thought that went into each postcard and to hear the children’s thoughtful conversations about how they can use their own power for good every day.
