On Tuesday, we had a fabulous first day back to school celebrating World Earth Day! Children, staff, parents and grandparents worked together to complete our secret World Earth Day Challenge, creating a brand new eco-village for Hampshire County Council! It was lovely to see the collaborative work involved and to have everyone’s creations on display in the hall! Following the challenge, classes spent the rest of the day completing themed activities including creating posters with ways in which we can help our planet and holding debates about the fast fashion industry. Thank you to all of the family members who joined us during the morning activity and a big well done to the children for being so enthusiastic about the importance of taking care of our planet!
