Today, the Year 6 pupils all thoroughly enjoyed a comprehensive Fire and Safety Workshop that not only extended their knowledge of safety but also equipped them with crucial life skills. During the workshop, they delved into an exploration of the top causes of fires, fostering an understanding of fire prevention. They learned the importance of regularly checking smoke alarms as a first line of defence against
potential dangers. The session also emphasised the significance of crafting a well-thought-out escape plan, empowering everyone to act swiftly and responsibly in the event of an emergency. This experience not only heightened our pupils awareness of fire hazards but also instilled a sense of responsibility, with the intention of equipping them all with essential knowledge for safeguarding themselves and their
families.
